Stamped envelopes, post and letter cards [manuscript]. 1915-1919.

Eighty-four empty envelopes, post and letter cards (mostly stamped) sent during World War I, from soldiers on active duty in France. The items are principally addressed to the Reverend John Ferguson (Sydney) and Thelma Josephson (Grenfell), with a lesser number to Mrs Robert McLean (Lismore). Included amongst the material is a completed letter card from William Josephson at the Dardanelles to his sister, Mrs Bryce Carter of Sydney (dated 8 August 1915), together with some field service postcards and illustrated souvenir cards from the front.
